Service is your calling. Serving you is mine.

Unhealthy in Healthcare.

I started my career as an ocean lifeguard EMT and eventually moved on to become a paramedic, and that’s when my health began to deteriorate. Strange right? We often wonder how the overweight doctor can give us blood pressure advice or tell us to stop smoking after they've just had a drag. But the reality is that most healthcare professionals fall victim to different coping mechanisms like food and alcohol to numb the emotions of calls gone wrong or being overworked and underpaid.

Systematic Coping Fails

No wonder we need more first responders. And with the paramedic shortage being a strain felt nationwide, everyone suffers. Industry culture perpetuates using immediate gratification techniques to ‘get by’ or ‘get through the shift’ but that mentality is turning an already tough workplace into one that's completely unmanageable. My mission is to educate healthcare professionals, or anyone else working in a high stress environment, how to fuel their body and create a true work-life balance. One that will benefit themselves, their families and those in their care.
